ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ronald Brandt was born as Ronald Davis in Indianola, Mississippi, and raised in Arkansas.
He received his BA in Art Education from City College of New York in 2007, after three years of study in the BFA Illustration program at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
He carries a sketchbook everywhere, and he would cry if he lost it.
He would also cry if he ever lost his iPod again.
He would like to complete a marathon someday, but has unfortunately found that he doesn’t like to run all that much.
He lives in Speonk, New York, with his wife, Julia. For fun, they take pictures of the food they eat and collect them in their “food journals.” Surprisingly, they have not made a blog out of it.
